• Casting at the heart of innovation

Mastering high-performance materials is an essential skill in the production of critical components for the systems our customers design. Our alloys are developed with the objective of providing targeted innovative solutions for the mechanical resistance, electrical and heat conductivity, corrosion resistance, tribological issues or even to all combined technical aspects. That is what makes the complexity and richness of metallurgical alloying, a science at the heart of our casting know-how.

Our foundries

Today, Lebronze alloys operates 20 dedicated foundry operations spread over 5 production sites in France and Germany that allow us to produce both precision blanks and semi-finished products for further processing:

  • 5 horizontal and vertical wire continuous casting lines,
  • 2 horizontal bar continuous casting lines,
  • 3 vertical bar semi-continuous casting lines,
  • 5 horizontal and vertical centrifugal casting lines,
  • 2 sand-casting lines,
  • 3 die precision chill casting lines.

Thanks to the new “Loiseau” foundry in Suippes which was recently inaugurated and to the new automated die precision chill casting in Taverny, our combined capacity has reached 35,000 tons/year, making the Group a major player in the copper alloys industry. Our wide range of foundries position us as one of the few casters that masters so many different technologies and alloys.

Our know-how

Lebronze alloys masters a wide range of alloys with more than 250 grades providing specific solutions to markets as diverse and demanding as Aerospace, Petrochemical, Energy, Transport and Vehicles, Metallurgy or even Luxury.

The main alloys families produced by the Group are:

  • High copper alloys (CuCr, CuCrZr, CuCo, CuBe, CuNiSi, etc.),
  • Leaded or unleaded brasses (CuZn),
  • Leaded or unleaded bronzes (CuSn, CuSnPb),
  • Copper nickels (CuNi),
  • Leaded or unleaded nickel silvers,
  • Aluminium bronzes (CuAl, CuAlFeNi),
  • Silicon bronzes (CuSi).

In order to offer the best solution, our Metallurgical Engineers can develop the most appropriate alloys for your needs whilst our Quality Department ensures your most demanding specifications are satisfied. We are not only certified ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 by assurance companies (TÜV, Lloyd’s Register, DNV, AFAQ) but by prestigious customers themselves.

Lebronze alloys group masters a wide range of metal processing technologies: continue and semicontinuous casting, sand casting, die precision chill casting (manual, mechanized and automated), centrifugal casting, extrusion, ring rolling, open-die forging, closed-die forging, hot stamping, cold forming, machining, non-destructive testing, etc.

We are in a position to support you from the conception to the industrialization of your products, making you benefit from our redesign to cost know-how. We are committed to bring you our experience in order to help you to find the best answer to your needs.
