K5 - X316 is a wrought  Copper Nickel Aluminium CuNi14Al3 /CuNi14Al2  (NFL14702, ASNA 6127A, GAM MM11) with very high mechanical properties, good impact and fatigue resistance, non-sparking on impact. It is strictly amagnetic.

K5 is used for Aerospace industry and Electrical engineering applications.

K5 is used within the aerospace industry thanks to its outstanding physical and mechanical properties inmany varied components

Lebronze alloys has developed a full range of Copper Nickel Aluminum matching the Aerospace industry stringent requirements.

  • Aluminum Nickel Copper alloy
  • Transformation by extrusion, forging or die stamping
  • Not very suitable for hot working
  • Not suitable for cold working
  • Not suitable for welding, hard and soft brazing
  • Machinability: 10 % free-cutting brass

Lebronze Alloys manufacturing process for K5 is fully integrated : internal processes include casting, hot and cold working, heat treatment and non-destructive testing. Being fully integrated ensures reactivity and complete traceability.
