Sustainability

More than 80 % of our raw metal comes from recycled sources, in a circular model.

We recover internal and customer scrap, melt it into qualified alloys and follow the metal from design to take-back. The circular grades are in service on flying, sailing and installed programmes. This page says what we measure, what a third party has verified, and what is still a target.

The loop

Where the metal comes from, and where it goes back to.

01

Design for circularity

Alloy and temper are chosen with your engineers from the first drawing, with circularity and sovereignty of supply in the brief.

02

Circular sourcing and melting

Internal and customer scrap is recovered and goes back into our furnaces, with controlled casting. More than 80 % of our raw metal comes from recycled sources, internal or external.

03

Transformation and supply

Extrusion, rolling, forging, drawing and heat treatment turn the metal into wires, strips and bars, then into near-net-shape parts. Local stock and open orders keep the supply short.

04

Take-back and closed-loop recycling

Your production scrap and end-of-life parts come back to us and go into melting. Our service centres recover customers' scrap, and copper alloys can be remelted again and again.
