Pure nickel and nickel-copper strip for deep-formed parts that must keep working in corrosive or hot environments.
Alloy family
What this family is good at
What nickel brings to a strip
Nickel resists corrosion in many aggressive media, from brine to sulfuric acid, and keeps its properties at high and low temperatures. Delivered annealed, our pure nickel strip is guaranteed at 40% minimum elongation, enough for deep drawing and tight bends. These are single-phase alloys, so strength comes from cold working during your forming.
Pure nickel grades for contacts and connectors
Nickel 200 (UNS N02200, compliant with DIN 17740 W n°2.4066) is the reference grade, with a guaranteed minimum of 400 MPa tensile strength and 127 HB. Nickel 201 (UNS N02201) is its low-carbon version, softer at 103 HB, which suits deeper forming. Nickel 206, 206A and 206C complete the range with the same chemistry at other strength levels.
In electronics, these strips make spring contacts, sockets and connectors that need a stable contact resistance over time. Pure nickel is magnetic, a point to check early if your assembly is sensitive to it.
Niclal® 400 for corrosive environments
Niclal® 400 (NiCu32Fe2Mn, UNS N04400) is a nickel-copper alloy, compliant with DIN 17743 W n°2.4360. It resists chemical corrosion, including reactions that involve chlorine or fluorine, and is guaranteed at a minimum of 540 MPa tensile strength with 35% elongation. We supply it as strip for electronics and e-mobility parts exposed to aggressive environments.
Strip made for series production
Connector makers need the same behaviour from every coil as much as they need the datasheet values. We roll precision strip and record its properties at each step of the process, which is what keeps series quality stable in your press.
