Luxury
Precision metallurgy behind the finish.
A watch or eyewear component is judged on its finish, and on the repeatability of its dimensions from one batch to the next. What luxury buys from us is dimensional repeatability, surface quality, machinability, tarnish resistance, non-magnetic behaviour and lead-free grades. We supply alloys for movement and case components in horology, frames and hinges in eyewear, hardware and clasps in leather goods, and medals.
ARCAP® nickel-silvers are non-magnetic and machine to a fine surface, and they are used in watch components, including in the Swiss watch industry. Niclafor® 1000, a copper-nickel-tin spinodal alloy, gives eyewear frames the elasticity and formability that allow lightweight and durable designs, and it can be coloured. For miniaturised watch parts, Niclafor® 1000 and Declafor keep high mechanical properties in very thin sections suitable for bending.
Where your specification excludes lead, the EnviB® brasses stay highly machinable without it and hold high mechanical properties, which suits hardware such as handbag buckles. For luxury customers we adapt products beyond the standards of other industries, and we work with your R&D teams on new grades.
Dimensional repeatability
Tight dimensional capability and property consistency supported by data, so a component machines the same way from one batch to the next.
Surface quality
ARCAP® nickel-silvers and EnviB® brasses machine to a surface that polishes cleanly, for parts that stay visible on the finished piece.
Lead-free grades
EnviB® brasses and the ZeST® range replace leaded free-machining grades and keep the machinability your turned parts rely on.
Discretion and co-development
We work with your R&D teams on grades adapted to your parts, and we keep our customers' names to ourselves.

Applications
What we make for luxury goods.
Movement and case components
ARCAP® nickel-silvers are non-magnetic and machine to a fine surface, for movement and case components. Niclafor® 1000 and Declafor keep high mechanical properties in very thin sections, for miniaturised parts.
Frames and hinges in Niclafor® 1000
Niclafor® 1000 (CuNi9Sn6) combines high elasticity with formability, which allows lightweight and durable frame designs, and the alloy can be coloured. It is supplied as rods, strips and wires.
Hardware, clasps and medals
EnviB® lead-free brasses stay highly machinable without lead and hold high mechanical properties, which suits hardware such as handbag buckles. Nickel-silver grades also go into jewellery, trophies and other finished objects.
Pen tip alloys in brass and nickel-silver
We supply wrought copper alloys for pen tips, in brass and in nickel-silver, and adjust the grade to the resistance, ductility or corrosion behaviour your instrument needs.
