Electronics
Precision strip that behaves the same, batch after batch.
A connector strip has to conduct, form without cracking and behave the same on the last coil of a series as on the first. Current-sensing parts add a resistivity that must stay stable with temperature, and shielding parts add strict non-magnetism.
We roll and draw these alloys in our own plants, and we control their properties with measured data on every batch. Our metallurgists work with your engineers on the alloy and the temper, and two alloys have been co-developed with customers in China in the last five years.
Our ranges are beryllium-free and lead-free where the application requires it. Our Dongguan site holds electronics stock, draws wire and machines parts close to Asian production lines.

Alloy and temper together
Our metallurgists choose the alloy and the temper with your design office, or develop a new grade when the application requires it.
Beryllium-free and lead-free
Our copper-nickel-tin grades give a beryllium-free route for springs and contacts, and our lead-free ranges cover the turned parts that regulation restricts.

Connectors, contacts and terminals
A high-reliability connector needs a strip that keeps its contact force over time and resists fatigue. Niclafor® 1000 and Niclal® 725 give that strength, ARCAP® AP1C and AP1D serve optical-fibre connectors in harsh environments, and C97 or C98 are the machinable grades for turned pins.
Shunts and precision resistance parts
Shunts, current-sensing resistors and battery-management sensing need a resistivity that stays stable with temperature and a low thermoelectric voltage against copper. Constantan 45 and the Niclal® copper-manganese grades are made for that, in strip, flat wire and wire.
High-conductivity strip and cabling
Busbars, interconnects, lead frames and heat spreaders need conductivity first. Cuprofor® strip conducts at 85% IACS, and UC500 wire adds the strength that high-performance cabling needs.
EMI shielding and non-magnetic parts
Shielding gaskets and braided cable shields need a strip or wire that deforms, conducts and stays strictly non-magnetic. Niclafor® 1000 and UC500 are used for gaskets around doors, panels and enclosures, and ARCAP® AP4 for parts that must stay non-magnetic.
