Why this grade
Carbon limit as low as Nickel 201, with tighter silicon, copper and iron limits
Low in carbon, for high temperature use without intergranular corrosion
Lower electrical resistivity than Nickel 200 and 201
Supplied annealed, for deep drawing, soldering and welding

GradeChemistryYield strengthChoose it when
Nickel 206AYou are hereNi150 MPaChoose it when you need low carbon pure nickel with tighter residual limits than Nickel 201. It is supplied annealed, with no DIN or UNS designation.
Nickel 200Ni500 MPaChoose it when the part needs standard pure nickel, UNS N02200, in hard or spring tempers. For high temperature service, take the low carbon Nickel 201.
Nickel 201Ni450 MPaChoose it when the part sees high temperature in service and you need a pure nickel referenced UNS N02201, with a lower carbon limit than Nickel 200.
Nickel 206Ni480 MPaChoose it when the drawing calls for DIN 17740 W n°2.4060, or when you want more nickel and lower resistivity than Nickel 200, in annealed or hard temper. Nickel 206C adds a lower carbon limit.
Nickel 206CNi480 MPaChoose it when the part needs the purity of Nickel 206 with a low carbon content, or the lowest resistivity of the range. Tempers run from annealed to full hard.
Niclal 400NiCuFeMn700 MPaChoose it when the part faces seawater or chloralkali corrosion, or needs more strength than the pure nickel grades, and high electrical conductivity is not required.
