NS6

CuNi3Si · C18000

NS6 is a CuNi3Si bar grade hardened by ageing, with the highest electrical conductivity of our nickel-silicon bars. Welding equipment makers and die casters use it for resistance welding parts and plunger tips.

Why this grade

01

Compliant with RWMA Class 3, the class used for resistance welding electrodes.

02

Higher electrical conductivity than NS5 and NS30, with the same thermal conductivity as NS5.

03

Antifriction properties for parts that slide or seat under load.

04

Cold formable in the quenched condition, then hardened after forming.
